I like this idea of creating a consensus ranking. I'm surprised so many people have Ryan Lin ranked ahead of the Ruck twins. They must believe that Ryan has some talent that will transfer to the NHL that the Ruck twins down't have. But it's not evident in his scoring - 50 points in 42 games versus almost 70 in 48 games for the twins. 1,2 points per game versus almost 1.5? For the models it's not even close.
I went back and had a look at my model rankings and Ryan Lin and Liam Ruck are two spots apart - Liam at 31 and Ryan Lin at 33. I should have had a look before jumping in.
Have a look at my list of forgotten second-year-eligible NHL Entry Draft prospects.

Ryan Lin is a defenseman though.

No worries, Jeff! It happens!
That explains it, Chris. :)
