By the Numbers: Calgary Flames Prospects Update

December 13th Update: CHL
Battaglia gets a goal, but was -2 in a 3-2 OT loss to Kitchener. He has 11 points in his last 10, but has slipped to 17th in OHL scoring with 30gp/18g/21a/39pts,even, 18 PIM. Kingston is 7th overall out of 20 teams.
Despite having more points than any player on either team, Mews is NOT named to the 3 stars of the game, posting 1g, 2a, +2, with 5 shots in a 3-2 OT win over Peterborough (he had the primary assist on the game-winner). He is 3rd in scoring by D, with 28gp/8g/29a/37pts,+2, 26 PIM, while the 67's are tied for 14th in the standings- which makes his accomplishments even more impressive IMO.
There's no stopping Luke Misa, who picks up another 2a (even, and 13/25 in faceoffs) in a 5-4 OT loss to Sudbury, with Rehkopf and Martone away at WJC camp. He is 12th in OHL scoring, with 29gp/18g/25a/43pts,+19, 2 PIM, and 11th in plus/minus, while the Steelheads are 12th out of 20 teams in the standings. In his last 14 games, the older Misa brother has 28 points.
Saginaw defeats Guelph, 7-6 without the services of Parekh, who is 4th in scoring by D with 25gp/10g/24a/34pts,+12, 43 PIM. He's also 14th in plus/minus for D, while the Spirit are 10th in the OHL. Mike Misa was first star tonight, with 2g, 2a, and +4 to take the lead in the scoring race by 5 points, with 28gp/29g/30a/59pts,+26, 21 PIM.
Morin had no points, and was -1 as the Wildcats defeat Acadie-Bathurst, 3-2 in OT. Despite only getting 1 point in the last 5, he is still 4th in scoring by D, with 28gp/6g/21a/27pts,+11, 18 PIM, and tied for 13th amongst blueliners in plus/minus. Moncton is second in the Q for points, but first in win %, at .800.
Gridin gets another 2a, and was +1 in a 4-3 win over Rouyn-Noranda, and is now 17th in scoring with 28gp/15g/19a/34pts,+7, 15 PIM. Shawinigan is tied for 8th in the Q standings.
Basha was first star with 1g, 2a, and +3 in a 5-1 beatdown of Moose Jaw. 20gp/9g/16a/25pts,-1, 28 PIM, while the Tigers are in 5th-place.

Hurtig must've had the game of his life, racking up 1g. 1a, and +3 in a 5-4 OT win over Kamloops, without Tanner Howe. The Hitmen are surprisingly tied for 8th overall, and Hurtig sits at 28gp/2g/5a/7pts,+22, 11 PIM, tied for 11th in plus/minus.
The Winterhawks beat Prince George, 4-1 with no points (-1) for Laing. The Cougs are tied for 5th, and Laing sits at 28gp/9g/10a/19pts,+7, 22 PIM.
Vancouver is blanked 4-0 by Victoria, so no points (even) for Lipinski, who went 6/18 in faceoffs. 20gp/3g/12a/15pts,-1, 18 PIM, and the Giants are tied for 14th out of 22 teams.
Jamieson is named 3rd star in a 3-2 loss to Wenatchee with 1g (even). He has amassed 11 points in the last 10 for a stat line of 31gp/7g/13a/20pts,+26, 27 PIM, 7th-overall in plus/minus.
December 13th Update: NCAA
#16 North Dakota beats #9 St.Cloud St., 2-0. Littler had no points, but was +1. 16gp/2g/2a/4pts,+6, 21 PIM.
Dec.11th:
#13 Boston U comes back from a 2-0 deficit with 4 unanswered goals to beat UMass, 4-2. As stated, Suniev gets a goal and was even. He is tied with the aforementioned Ryan Leonard for 14th in NCAA scoring (though Leonard has played 1 less game), with 17gp/10g/9a/19pts,+4, 10 PIM. Leonard is first in goals with 12, while Suniev is tied for 4th.
December 11th Update: AHL
(includes some veteran minor-leaguers)
The best team in the AHL keeps rollin', with a 6-3 victory over Manitoba.
- First star was Hunter Brzustewicz with 1g, 1a, and +2. He has 7 points in the last 6 games for a stat line of 24gp/1g/8a/9pts,+2, 2 PIM. Very exciting!
- Second star is Sam Honzek, with 2g, 1a, and a +3. He has 7 points in the last 7 games, for 15gp/4g/6a/10pts,+6, 8 PIM. Again, very exciting!
- Third star is Clark Bishop with 1g, 2a, and a +2. He is tied for 17th in AHL scoring with 25gp/11g/10a/21pts,+8, 11 PIM.
- Ignatjew stops 31 of 34. 5-2-1-0, with 3.72 GAA, and a .882 SV%.
- Frk gets 1g, 2a, and a +3. He's put up 13 points in the last 10 games for 21gp/6g/10a/16pts,+1, 14 PIM.
- Also getting points were Kerins (1a), Hunt (1a), Klapka (1g), and Aspirot (1a).
- Klapka has 11gp/6g/5a/11pts,+8, 24 PIM. Quite impressive.
- Kerins sits atop the AHL scoring race (second in goals and plus/minus), with 25gp/17g/11a/28pts,+16, 8 PIM.
- Kuznetsov leads the league in plus/minus (+17), followed by Kerins, with Solovyov and Hunt (+14) tied for 3rd with D Ethan Bear of Hershey.
- Hunt is tied for 6th in scoring with 23gp/6g/18a/24pts,+14, 18 PIM.
- Solovyov is tied for 7th in scoring by D, with 21gp/4g/10a/14pts,+14, 6 PIM.
